The Tara is our new oversized shirt made from the finest linen. What sets it apart is the quality of the yarn which is dyed individually before it is woven so the colour will not fade as it does with piece-dyed garments. The yarn is woven in a traditional family-run mill in Wexford, Ireland. They tightly entwine the fibers and yarns, making the linen stronger and more durable.

The Tara is designed with our classic relaxed fit which looks fantastic on every figure, it is generously cut, has soft-rounded shoulders, and has no back pleat. The buttons are natural shell buttons with a lovely iridescent quality which complements the linen. The typical wrinkling of the fabric gives it its charm so it is both relaxed, informal as well as elegant and sophisticated.

There is evidence that linen was a favourite textile before the Egyptians more than 30,000 years ago. And for a good reason: the inherent properties of the fabric are like nothing else: it is the best to battle heat, it naturally absorbs humidity, and it is breathable, light, and durable. Easy to look after, it becomes softer after every wash so your shirt can last forever.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: This linen has been pre-washed but may shrink by 2%. Wash inside out at a gentle cycle at 30 degrees. Lay flat to dry. Iron at medium to high heat. It can be professionally dry-cleaned.
